Film Studies Minor
Heidelberg's Film Studies minor, which was offered for the first time in the 2006-07 year, is a perfect complement for students majoring in a variety of disciplines from communication and English to the sciences and business. The interdsciplinary Film Studies minor combines theory and production classes for the complete liberal arts film experience. The Film Studies minor works easily into most students' schedules.
Ultimately, students opting for a Film Studies minor have the optimum flexibility for building a career after Heidelberg. While many of our students will use the minor as a springboard for film/graduate school, several will also undoubtedly apply the knowledge and experience they gain in the Film Studies minor to careers in marketing, business, biology, education and public relations.
