Statement of Accreditation

Heidelberg University has been continuously accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools since 1913 and was included on the Association’s first published list of accredited institutions. The University is a full member of the National Association of Schools of Music, and its requirements for entrance and graduation are in accordance with the published regulations of this accrediting agency. The University’s education program is recognized by the State Department of Education of Ohio and most other states. The University’s Master of Arts Degree in Counseling is recognized and approved by the Ohio Board of Regents and the Ohio Counselor and Social Worker Board. The University’s Athletic Training Education Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education agency.
