Cory Buhrman, men's soccer junior
Leading the way for the men’s soccer team is junior Cory Buhrman. Buhrman finished the 2008 season leading the team in shots, with 70, and shots-on-goal, with 25. Scoring five goals, Buhrman tied for second place and came in third in overall scoring with 11 points. Throughout his career at Heidelberg, Buhrman has scored the game-winning goal five times. Buhrman received OAC honors in his rookie season, being named the OAC Player of the Week for the week of October 1, 2007. Buhrman is pursuing a degree in sports management from Heidelberg University.
