Lauren Sweeney, women's soccer senior
Protecting the goal for the Heidelberg University women’s soccer team is senior Lauren Sweeney. Sweeney has made a tremendous impact on the women’s soccer program, defending the goal since her freshman year. In her junior campaign in 2008, Sweeney recorded double-digit saves six times, and tallied 152 saves, allowing only 33 goals on the year. Sweeney recorded a season-high 17 saves against both Marietta and Wilmington, shutting out three opponents. Sweeney will graduate in May with a degree in business management from Heidelberg University
