Alison Marty, class of 2010
Alison Marty is a public relations major, with minors in psychology and Spanish, but the well-rounded student-athlete has found ways to learn both inside and outside the classroom.
This senior from Amherst, Ohio is taking advantages of the opportunities available to her at Heidelberg. A runner on the cross country and track and field teams, a member of Campus Fellowship, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Caring Makes Cents, a resident assistant and a student ambassador, Alison said, “Heidelberg has helped direct me towards where I want to go and who I want to be.”
Alison believes in working hard to reach her goals. She defines success as “achieving your highest potential, giving it your all and knowing you did your best.” But she knows that success is not only found in text books.
“Through my classes and professors, sports and coaches, organizations and friends, I have learned more than I could have imagined in my college experience-and it isn't over yet! I have faith that my Heidelberg education has prepared me for graduate school in the fall of 2010,” she said.
