Courses in the major may be used to satisfy General Education Requirements. This will not reduce the number of hours required for graduation, but gives opportunity for additional elective hours.
All students must earn a minimum cumulative point average of 2.00 to qualify for a degree.
Each student must complete no fewer than 30 semester hours at the junior level or above (300 or 400 levels at Heidelberg) at four-year institutions.
A student who wishes to receive a degree from Heidelberg College must take at least the senior year in residence; that is, a minimum of 30 semester hours. Sixty semester hours must be earned at a four-year, regionally accredited institution to qualify for a degree.
No student may work for two degrees simultaneously. If a student wishes to work for a second degree, he or she must acquire an additional 30 academic hours at Heidelberg after completion of the first degree. To add another major, up to the allowable limits, additional course work can be done following graduation.
